Cheri Tree is the founder and CEO of B.A.N.K.code, a company which developed a unique personality-based sales training approach. On this episode she shares the story how her nomad upbringing lead her to crack personality codes.
Coming from a U.S. military family, Cheri traveled a lot during her childhood and when she was a student. Now, as an adult, she still spends a lot of time on airplanes. Her travels took her to France, Tunisia, the UK, South Korea, and Romania. At least once a year Cheri flies to the Netherlands, the home of her partner.
When Cheri was five years old, her father was stationed in France for three years. She went to Kindergarten (école maternelle) at a French school. When she came home after her first day of school, her mom asked her what she learned. Cheri’s response was: “Blah blah blah blah blah, Bonjour!”
Fast forward 20 years and she experienced the same thing in sales. All her customers heard was “Blah blah blah blah blah, BUY MY PRODUCT!” Needless to say that this one-size-fits-all approach didn’t produce the results she wanted.
After years of research Cheri developed the B.A.N.K. code self-assessment tool to decode different personality types. Check out her company’s website to see what B.A.N.K. is all about and go ahead and crack your own B.A.N.K. code. Then give her Facebook Page a like.
