Doing business across cultures comes with many challenges, one of them being able to communicate in foreign languages. As more and more people prefer to consume product and service information in their native tongue, it is becoming increasingly relevant to build and retain an audience in their preferred language. Helping businesses communicate more effectively and internationally with their target audience is the passion of Kathrin Bussmann, who serves clients through her Toronto-based company Verbaccino.
Kathrin recently launched her new podcast series and invited Christian to be a guest on one of the initial episodes of The Worldly Marketer. The two of them talked about how small and mid-sized businesses can expand outside of their home market and venture into foreign countries. The focus of their conversation is on avoiding the potential pitfalls of marketing a product or service in markets with distinctly different cultures than the home market.
